1928 - 2010 - Ronald Steeves passed away at the Moncton Hospital on Monday, August 2, 2010 at the age of 82. Born in Moncton, on August 26, 1928, he was the son of the late Frank and Lillian (Milton) Steeves. He was employed by Eaton's for several years prior to becoming self employed in the flooring industry. He was a volunteer with Learn to Skate Program, an avid speed skater, a member of the Bi Centennial Skating Club and always had a passion for antique cars. He was survived by a special friend Jessie McAllister, three daughters, Brenda Moncton, Beverly (Eric) MacIntosh, Crystal (Jeff) Corey Havelock, one son Wayne (Joanne) Moncton, one sister Agnes Crossman, nine grandchildren, Dave Fougere, Heather, Scott, Ronnie, Greg MacIntosh, Travis Steeves, Josh, Naomi and Cheyenne Corey,
12 great grandchildren, Stephen, Chadwick, Brandon, Katelynn, Sydnei, Spencer, Alexander, Riley, Senora, Anna, Seaira and Layla. Besides his parents he was
predeceased by bothers, Leon, Eldon, Arnold, Owen, sisters Jean and Della, granddaughter Shannon Steeves-Corey.
The family will be receiving relatives and friends at Cobb's Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 330 Whitepine Rd., Riverview, (869-2007) on Tuesday from 7 to 9. The funeral service will take place from Cobb's Funeral Home Memorial Chapel on Wednesday, August 4, 2010 at 1:00 PM with Pastor Jim Wright officiating.
