It is with deep sorrow that we, the family of Mary Katherine MacDonald, Columbia Street, announce her passing Sunday, Aug. 1, 2010, at the New Waterford Consolidated Hospital, at the age of 77.
Born in New Boston, she was the daughter of the late Rory and Louise (Wilberham) MacLeod.
Mary Katherine loved to spend time with her family and enjoyed her Sunday walks and visits with her sister and best friend Sarah Ann.
She is survived by her husband of 52 years, William; two sons, Daniel and Lloyd, at home; three daughters, Nancy (John R. MacPhail), South Bar, Mary, Fredericton, and Margaret (Paul Williams), Sydney; one brother, Allan (Kaye) MacLeod, Catalone; one sister, Sarah Ann MacSween, Sydney.
She was predeceased by two sisters, Catherine and Florence, and three brothers, Angus, Donald and Hugh.
Visitation will be held at Sydney Memorial Chapel on Wednesday from 7-9 p.m. A private graveside service will be held at Hardwood Hill Cemetery.
