Dorothy Mombourquette of Halifax, formerly of 415 Westmount Road passed away May 21, 2009 in Halifax.
Born in Sydney, she was the daughter of the late Baden and Bessie Powell.
She is survived by her sister, Betty Gallant, Halifax; niece, Debbie Short, Halifax; nephews, Allan Gallant, Hamilton, Ont., Robert Gallant, Dartmouth.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Peter Mombourquette and two brothers.
She worked at Cape Breton Dairyman’s Co-op in Sydney for many years.
A graveside service will take place at a later date.
