Hermelinda Guerrero of Medicine Hat passed away on Thursday, July 29th, 2010 at the age of 82 years. Hermelinda leaves to cherish her memory her three children: Hector Tello of Winnipeg, Manitoba and his children, Hector (Beth) and their children, Kale (Candice), Marko (Angela), Jesse (Becky), Chenise (Tanner); Maritza Tello (Brian Bumphrey); John (Joyce) (Andrea) and his children, Moriah (Josh) and their children, Machayla and Caleb, Jasmine (Malcolm), and Emilio; - Liliana (Jorge) Toro of Chile and their children, Sandra , Ricardo, Paola and Faviola; - Nelson (Gloria) Tello of Chile and their children, Antonio, Alejandro, and Yerko; one brother, Raul (Chepa) Guerrero; two sisters, Rosa Ortega and Estelba Norambuena, both of Chile; as well as numerous nieces and nephews; two special granddaughters, Darlene Mainprize and Colleen Halvorsen. Hermelinda was predeceased by her parents, one great grandson, Jonathon Tello; one sister, Blanca Guerrero. Hermelinda came to Canada in 1979 and settled in Moose Jaw. In 2003, she moved to Medicine Hat where she continued to reside until the time of her passing. The Funeral Service was held in SAAMIS MEMORIAL FUNERAL CHAPEL, # 1 Dunmore Road SE, Medicine Hat, Alberta, on Monday, August 2nd, 2010 at 10:30 a.m. with Gary W. Goran officiating.
