It is with great sadness that the family of the late Cecilia Rose Chaisson (nee Young) announce her passing at the Sir Thomas Roddick Hospital, Stephenville on Monday, August 2, 2010 at the age of 87 years. She will be sadly missed by her 20 children; six half-brothers, three half-sisters, 56 grandchildren, 64 great-grandchildren, three great-great grandchildren (five generations) and a large circle of relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband Thomas and sons, Norman and Roderick. Friends may call at Our Lady of the Cape Parish, Cape St. George on Thursday, August 5th from 7-9 p.m. Funeral Mass will take place on Friday, August 6th at 2:00 p.m. at Our Lady of the Cape Parish, Cape St. George with interment in the Roman Catholic Cemetery in Marches Point. Funeral arrangements are under the supervision of Russell's Funeral Home, Stephenville.
