Passed peacefully away at the Interfaith Seniors Home, Corner Brook, Percy Charles Gale on Monday, May 25th, 2009 at the age of 81 years. He leaves to mourn his sister, Irene (Leaman), Robinson’s; nephews: Charlis (Debbie), Robinson’s, Charles Marsh, Oshawa, ON, David (Elizabeth) Evans, Codroy and Wayne (Lucy), Corner Brook; nieces: Lorraine (Dan), Campbell River, BC, Linda Marsh, Oshawa, ON and Ida (Albert) Osmond, Port aux Basques, special niece Kim Gale, Corner Brook, as well as a large circle of cousins and friends. He is predeceased by his parents, Charles and Mary Ann Gale; sisters: Nancy and Vera; nephews: Lionel Craig Gale and baby Charles Craig Gale. Visitation will take place from St. George’s Anglican Church, Robinson’s, on Wednesday from 7-9 p.m., from where the funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 28th at 2:00 p.m., Rev. Canon David Pearce officiating. Interment to follow at the church cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
