Passed peacefully away at the Burin Peninsula Health Care Center on July 27th
Bert Legge of Burin Bay Arm age 90 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories sons Hughie (Joan) and Danny; grandchildren Connie Fewer (Darren), Dana Legge, Sherri Anthony (Mark), Jenny Legge, Patrick Legge, Lillian Legge, Eric Legge Jr., Gladys Legge, Thomas Farrell and Joshua Farrell; great grandchildren Matthew and Andrew Fewer; step children Isabelle Jarvis (Alfred), Ann Clarke (Clarence), Maxine Rowe (Louis), Marie Farewell (Walter), Lillian Hodder (Cecil), Janice Paul, Jessie Hooper (Wally), Yvonne Legge (Eric), Hattie Farewell (Wayne), George Hooper (Annette), Clarence (Ellen) Hooper, Dave Hooper (Rose) and Arthur Hooper plus many other step grandchildren and great grandchildren; sisters Amelia Keating and Jennie Mae Wright plus a large circle of other family and friends. Predeceased by wives Lillian Legge and Gladys Legge; sons Bruce and Alex and stepsons Alfred and Willis.
Resting at Serenity Funeral home today and Thursday from 10am to 10pm.
Funeral service to take from Bethany United Church, Burin Bay Arm Friday, July 30th at 10AM with interment following at Bethany United Church Cemetery.
