Passed peacefully away at St. Clare's Mercy Hospital, St. John's on July 28th Rita Mayo of Burin age 77 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories husband Eugene; sons Reuben (Leona) of Brooks, AB, Wayne (Gail) of Burin and Roy (Penny) of Sheet Harbour, NS; loyal friend and companion Mary Whalen of Burin; grandchildren Sandra Hodder, Jason Mayo, Gillian Mayo and Zachary Mayo; sister Sadie Snook (George) of Wreck Cove; brother Frederick Blagdon (Nora) of Terrenceville, Onslow Blagdon (Bessie) of Greenwood, NS and Oscar Blagdon of Marysvale plus a large circle of other family and friends. Predeceased by sister Winnifred Price and brother Roland Blagdon. Resting at Serenity Funeral Home, Burin, Thursday from 2-4P.M. and 6-9P.M. Friday 10-12, 2-4 and 6-9.
Funeral Service to take place from Holy Trinity Anglican Church, Ship Cove on Saturday, July 31st at 2pm with cremation following.
