(1926-2010) Passed away peacefully at the L.A. Miller Centre, Palliative Care Unit on August 3, 2010 after a courageous battle with cancer. Predeceased by her husband Aidan and daughter Annette. Leaving to mourn her children: Gail (Gord Butler), Aidan (Maureen), Holly (Andre Zaugg), Brian and David (Robin); grandchildren: Stephen, Michael and Julie Butler, Erin and Allison Kenny, Liam and Eamon Kenny, and Hannah and Leah Kenny. Also leaving to mourn her sister Agnes Merner, who was a constant support throughout her life and particularly during her illness, sister Fran Dearin and brother George Merner. As well as many other relatives and friends. A sincere thank you to the doctors and nurses at the PCU and especially to community health nurse Jennifer Carroll, who visited on a regular basis. Resting at Barrett's Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Ave. on Thursday, August 5, 2010 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held from St. Patrick's Parish on Friday, August 6, 2010 at 9:30 a.m. with interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
