May 15, 1959 to May 25, 2009. Jeff proudly served his country for 28 years retiring in 2006 as a Chief Petty Officer Second Class, as Chief Engineer aboard the HMCS Huron. Jeff passed away suddenly at his residence on Bauline Line. Leaving to mourn his loving wife and lifelong partner Kathy (nee Currie), his sons Carl (Tammy) and Robert (Kelsey); also his parents Ben and Joyce Hansen; brothers David (Phoebe), Peter (Rachel), Colin; sisters: Marina (Ches), Heidi (Wayne), Sarah (Mark), Valerie (John); brother-in-law Rob (Lorraine); sister-in-law Nola (Joe) and his precious grandchildren Payton, Jacob and Ryker. Also, many nieces, nephews and a large circle of friends. Cremation has taken place. Visitation at Caul’s Funeral Home, Torbay on Thursday, May 28th from 12 noon to 8 p.m. Funeral service on Friday, May 29th at 11 a.m. from First Baptist Church, Mount Pearl. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations in his memory may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
