Jacques Bordeleau, 71, of Shediac passed away on Thursday, August 5, 2010 at the Dr. Georges L. Dumont Hospital, Moncton. Born July 6, 1939 in St. Stanislas de Champlain, Québec, he was the son of the late Alexandre Bordeleau and the late Rachel Godin. Jacques was a lumberjack since the age of 15 years.
He will be greatly missed by his loving common law wife of 13 years, Kathy (Carroll) Richardson, daughter Eve Marie Bordeleau (Hebert Quintero Valencia) of Québec, his brothers and sisters: Suzanne (Raymond) Bordeleau, Marcel (Rolande) Bordeleau, Thérèse (Tibor) Bordeleau and André (Monique) Bordeleau all of Québec, two step-sons, Marc, Denis (Candice) and his step-granddaughter Sadie all of Shediac, his brothers-in-law and sisters-in-laws Gérald (Joanne) Carroll, Emerild (Simonne) Carroll, Liliane (Alvin) Brun, Donald (Lise) Carroll, Arlene (Fred) Savoie, Linda (Francis) Horne, Florence (Fernand) Mazerolle, Hélène (Gerry) Carroll, Paul (Danica) Carroll and Poutch (Josée) Carroll and friends. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by a sister Denise Bordeleau.
Chapel service to be held at Frenette Funeral Home Ltd., 396 Main St., Shediac (532-3297) on Monday, August 9, 2010 at 10 a.m. Interment will be in Québec.
