Peacefully at the Palliative Care Unit of the Prince Edward Home, on Saturday, August 7, 2010 of Walter Heppler of Stratford and formerly of Edmonton, Alta., age 74 years. Beloved husband of Jean Heppler (nee Murphy) and loving brother of Cecilia Chevalier (Charles). Walter is survived by several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents Joseph and Mary Heppler and his sisters Rosemary and Dorothy Heppler. Resting at Hillsboro Funeral Home, Stratford. No visitation by personal request. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, August 10 at St. Joachim's Church, Vernon River at 2 p.m. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
