Hunt, Ella Mae, (nee Pickett)
Passed away at James Paton Memorial Hospital on Thursday, August 5th, 2010, Ella Mae Hunt aged 76 of Centreville. During the last 11 ½ years, Ella fought a courageous battle with cancer and finally passed away in the loving presence of her family. Ella lived everyday to the fullest with great hope and strength despite her illness. Her desire and pleasure came from spending time on Silver Fox Island with family and friends.
Leaving to mourn, with fond and loving memories, her husband Llewellyn of 57 years; daughters Gail Grimes (Harvey), Wareham. Lisa Fraser (Harold), Truro, NS; Sons Roy (Christine, her guardian angel), Shediac, NB, Job (Cathy), Wareham, Carl (Neta), Wareham, Calvin (Beverly), Labrador City; Sisters Deliah Cutler, Centreville and Irene Paul, Port-Aux - Basque; 14 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and a large circle of extended family and friends. A special thanks to Dr. Adams and staff at the Health Science Center as well as Dr. St. Croix and staff at James Paton Memorial Hospital. Funeral service took place at St. Barnabas Anglican Church, Centreville on Sunday, August 8, 2010 with Rev. Shaun O'Connor officiating. Interment followed at The Anglican Cemetery, Centreville.
