Passed away at the James Paton Memorial Hospital in Gander on Friday, August 7, 2010, Mr. Weldon Abbott of Musgrave Harbour in his 64th year. Pre-deceased by his parents Fred and Maude Abbott, 3 brothers Selby, Clifford and James, and sister-in-law Vida. Left to mourn with fond and loving memories are his 3 daughters Sarah Abbott of Montreal, Que, Angela Abbott of Montreal, Que, and Wendy Abbott (Arvish Sood) of Montreal, Que, 3 brothers Tobias (Susie) of Musgrave Harbour, Maxwell (Barbara) of Dawson Creek, BC, and Boyce (Sheila) of Gander, 2 sisters Joy Foley (Fred) of New Liskeard, Ont and Beulah Oakley (Lewis) of Wesleyville, 1 granddaughter Lily-Maude Thibodeau of Montreal, Que, 2 sister-in-law Dorothy Abbott of Musgrave Harbour and Nita Abbott of Musgrave Harbour and also a large circle of other relatives and friends. Funeral service took place on Monday, August 9th from the Salvation Army Citadel in Musgrave Harbour. Interment followed from the Salvation Army Cemetry in Musgrave Harbour with Majors Barry and Donna Anstey officiating. Donations in his memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
