July 20, 1931 - August 8, 2010. Passed peacefully away after a lengthy illness at the Carbonear General Hospital on Sunday, August 8, 2010, Eldred Sooley of Heart's Delight, aged 79 years. Eldred is predeceased by his parents Cyril and Anne Sooley; two sisters and brothers-in-law: Ida Green (Elwood), Elsie Green (Jack); brother Hobart and brother-in-law Hayward Parrott. Leaving to mourn and to celebrate his life with thanksgiving are sisters: Hilda Parrott and Evelyn Green (Bill); sister-in-law Norma Sooley; nephew Jack Sooley (Barb) and special neighbors and friends: Bob Sooley (Shirley and Tim). Eldred is also lovingly remembered by a large number of nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends. Resting at St. Matthew's Church Hall, Heart's Delight - Islington on Tuesday, August 10th, 12 noon - 9 p.m. Wednesday, August 11th, 10 a.m. - 12 noon. The funeral service will be held from St. Matthew's Anglican Church, Heart's Delight on Wednesday, August 11th at 2 p.m. Cremation to follow.
