Francis George Arseneau, son of the late Francis and Eileen (George) Arseneau passed peacefully at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Tuesday, August 10, 2010. Born July 12, 1941 in Saint John, Francis is survived by sons Rob (Tammy) of Saint John, Brant of New York, and Brad (Laurie) of Toronto; Brother Richard Arseneau (Ida) of Saint John; He was a wonderful bumpy and grampy to grandchildren Brooklyn, Lily, Jonah, Xander, Jack, Willem, and Reid; Frank will also be missed by special friends Pat, Walter, Heidi and Moo; several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Frank worked as a unionized Millwright for 39 years until health problems forced him to retire two months ago. In his spare time he loved to carve wood, paint, and travel the world with his boys.
Arrangements are under the direction of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Rd. (646-2424) with visitations on Wednesday, August 11 from 7 to 9 PM and Thursday, August 12 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9. Funeral service will be held from the Fundy Funeral Home Chapel on Friday, August 13 at 1:00 P.M. A private family interment will follow at a later date.
