Annie Elizabeth Kantor (Burbery) of Pine Grove Nursing Home passed away at the home on August 10, 2010 at the age of 84. Annie was a homemaker taking care of her family. Annie enjoyed music and going for drives with family and friends. She loved her dogs, especially Ginger, a poodle she had rescued. Annie enjoyed family gatherings and her Tuesday bus trip with the seniors to the Moonlight Inn for dinner. Annie is survived by two daughters, Debbie Kantor (John), Mary Shaw (Bill) both of Saint John, four sons George Kantor, Cumberland Bay, Stephen Kantor (Wendy) Rothsay, Robert Kantor (Beverly) Harvey, Paul Kantor(Chris) Mazerolle two sisters Arline Landry (Alphie) Central Blissvillle, Donna Campbell (Wayne) Fredericton, 14 grandchildren; Glen, Grant, Garret, Bradley, Nathen, Gillian, Jennifer, Meghan, Amanda, Jillian, Adam, Dianna, Stephen and Lindsey. 10 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her parents Mabel Taylor and Harry Burbery, her husband Joseph Kantor and her 30 year companion Gordon Gillispie. Her brother Billy Burbery and sister-in-law Pansy, two daughters-in-law Kathleen Kantor and Sharon Kantor.
Relatives and friends are invited to Sunbury Funeral Home Thursday, August 12 for visitations from 2 to 4pm and 7 to 9pm. Funeral service will be held from Knox Presbyterian Church in Harvey on Friday, August 13 at 2pm with Rev. George Clark officiating. Interment to follow in the Harvey Community Cemetery.
