The passing of Marie Regina Suzanne "Susan" (Bertrand) Steeves, wife of Paul Stewart, of Keswick Ridge, NB, occurred on August 11, 2010 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on July 23, 1957 in Quebec, she was a daughter of the late Gérard and Shirley (McGrath) Bertrand. Susan was an Executive Assistant in the Human Resources Branch of Service Canada. She enjoyed reading, gardening, cooking, baking and canning. Besides her husband, Susan is survived by three daughters, Tanya Steeves (Ron Morehouse) of Burton, NB, Tracy (Bill) Henwood of Fredericton, NB and Amanda Stewart of Keswick Ridge, NB; grandchildren, Marcel, Morgan, Alexander and Ava; sisters, Johanne and Linda Bertrand both of Fredericton, NB; brother, Danny Bertrand of Burton, NB; loving aunts, uncles, and cousins in Quebec.
Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home Ltd., 302 Brookside Drive, Fredericton, NB on Sunday from 6 to 9 pm. A Memorial Service will be held from York Funeral Home's T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel on Monday, August 16, 2010 at 11 am with Rev. Paul Thompson officiating.
