The passing of Eileen (Wallis) Babonau, wife of the late Samuel Babonau, of Fredericton, NB, occurred on August 12, 2010 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on March 11, 1933 in England, she was a daughter of the late Robin Thomas and Dorothy Alice (Gray) Wallis. She was an active member of the First Wesleyan Church. Eileen is survived by her son, Graham Wallis Babonau of Fredericton, NB; her daughter, Kaye Yvonne Dixon (Dale) of Fredericton, NB; grandchildren, Megan, Angela and Nathan.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, August 18, 2010 from 12 to 2 pm followed by a public Memorial Service at 2 pm at York Funeral Home's T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel, 302 Brookside Drive, Fredericton, NB. In lieu of flowers, for those who wish, donations may be made to the Dixon family for future care of Eileen's grandchildren, Megan and Nathan.
