Passed peacefully away after a short illness on Wednesday, May 27, 2009, Kathleen Mary Watson. Predeceased by her loving husband Ian (British Royal Navy) in May 1984; parents Harry and Elizabeth Hunt (Greenspond, Bonavista Bay); sister Nancy Rollings. Left to celebrate her life is her only child Judy-Ann Watson (husband Wayne Fowlow); her two adoring granddaughters: Heidi Windsor-Scott (husband Greg Scott), Doha, Qatar and Devon Windsor (fiancé Greg Doyle), Victoria, BC; two step-grandchildren: Jennifer Fowlow (fiancé Ben Payne), Victoria, BC and Robert Fowlow, Ottawa, ON; one precious great-granddaughter Summer Scott; brother Leonard Hunt (Phyllis); special friends Barbara Clarke and Anna Scott; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends; especially her friends at Bishop Meaden Manor and at St. Michael’s Church. At Kathleen’s request cremation has taken place. Visitation will take place at Carnell’s Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road on Sunday, May 31, 2009 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service to take place on Monday, June 1, 2009 at 2 p.m. from St. Michael and All Angels Church, St. Clare Avenue. Interment to follow in the Anglican Cemetery, Kenmount Road. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations in her memory may be made to St. Michael and All Angels or to the S.P.C.A.
