1979 - 2010 - Napan - Jennifer Loretta Lynn Gifford-Dickson, wife of Shawn Dickson, of the Weldfield Collette Road, Napan, passed away on arrival at the Miramichi Regional Hospital, on Monday, August 16, 2010, as a result of the motor vehicle accident, at the age of 31. Born in Chatham, on January 23, 1979, she was the daughter of Wayne Gifford and Mary MacDonald. She was an employee of Kindertots Daycare Services and a former employee of Chatham Daycare Services. She is survived by her husband, Shawn; two sons, Christian and Thomas Dickson, both at home; her parents, Mary MacDonald, of Riviere Verte and Wayne Gifford, of Black River Bridge; two brothers, Timothy Gifford (Sandra), of Souel, Korea and Andrew (Monica), of Black River Bridge; nieces, Sara and Emma; nephew, David; as well as numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Visitation will be at Adams Funeral Home Ltd., 140 King St., Miramichi, on Thursday, from 7 to 9 pm and Friday, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. The funeral service will be held from St. Stephen's United Church, Black River Bridge, on Saturday, August 21, 2010, at 2 pm, conducted by Pastor Fred Williams. Interment will be in the Black River Community Cemetery, Black River Bridge. As expressions of sympathy, donations to any charity of the donors' choice, would be appreciated by the family.
