Passed peacefully away at the Pentecostal Senior Citizens Home, Clarke's Beach, Wednesday, August 18, 2010, Mrs. Maggie Petten of Port De Grave, aged 91 years. Predeceased by husband: Norman; sisters: Blanche (Bill) Stewart, Evelyn (Alfred) Farrell and Nellie (Bill) Porter; brothers: Victor (Susie) Morgan, Ralph (Marion) Morgan, Bill (Greta) Morgan and daughter-in-law: Bernice Petten. Leaving to mourn, son: Clarence; daughters: Yvonne (David) Lear and Faye (Calvin) Snow; eight grandchgildren: Norman (Deborah) Lear, Ivan Lear, Wanda Lee (Jeremy) Rowsell, Norma (Luke) Mouland, Stephanie Snow, Scott (Deana) Petten, Warren (Daisy) Petten and Trevor (Deana) Petten; seven great-grandchildren: Brandon and Tyler Petten, Hailey and Hilary Petten, Robin and Katie Petten and Hunter Mouland; one great-great-grandchild: Keilly; and a large circle of other relatives and friends. Pastor Jeffrey E. Whie conducted the funeral service at the Pentecostal Tabernacle, Port De Grave on Sunday, August 22, 2010. Interment was at Pentecostal Cemetery, Port De Grave. Pallbearers were Clarence Petten, David Lear, Scott Petten, Norman Lear, Ivan Lear, Trevor Petten. Honorary Pallbearers were Wanda Lee Rowsell and Stephanie Snow.
