WRICE, Lawrence – of Carbonear, who passed away peacefully at the Carbonear General Hospital, Carbonear on Friday, May 29, 2009. Mr. Wrice was 76 years old. He leaves to mourn his loving family: wife Helen Wrice, Carbonear, sons Larry (Francine) Wrice, St. John's, Wayne (Elaine) Wrice, Whitbourne & Keith (Carolyn) Wrice, Mt. Pearl; grandchildren: Robyn, Cody, Courtney, Tyler and Kyle; brothers: Edward & Bill; sisters-in-law: Pearl Slade & Frances Wrice, numerous nephews and nieces. Predeceased by parents Eugene & Anastasia Wrice, brother Leo Wrice, sister Mary Wrice. Mr. Wrice was a veteran of the Korean War, he was also a member of the Knights of Columbus, Royal Canadian Legion and a honorary member of the Carbonear Fire Department. The Funeral Mass will take place at St. Patrick's R.C. Church and interment will follow at the Interfaith Cemetery, Carbonear on Monday, June 1, 2009 at 10:30 A.M. The Family will be receiving relatives and friends at SLADE'S FUNERAL HOME, POWELL DRIVE, CARBONEAR between the hours of 10:30 - 12 noon, 2 - 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. daily.
