The death occurred at her home on Friday, May 29th, 2009 of “Theresa” Mary Rayner (nee Brennan) of Summerside, aged 79 years. Theresa was born on January 26th, 1930 in Sea Cow Pond, P.E.I., to her late parents Wilfred & Mary (nee Perry) Brennan. Beloved wife of the late Merrill Rayner. Loving mother of Debbie (Eldon) Murphy & Cindy (Frank) McCardle all of Middleton. Also lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Jennifer (Jeff) , Nicholas (Sarah), Matthew (Rachel), Mitchell (Patty), Nolan, Alex, Ellen, Charles & Erika, her great-grandchildren Kyle, Oliver & Mackenzie and several nieces & nephews. Survived by her brothers Edgar (Eleanor) Brennan of Tignish & Donnie (Wanda) Brennan of Ontario, her sister Stella (Cecil) Stewart of Cardigan, her brother-in-law Percy Rayner of Summerside and her sisters-in-law Rosemarie Brennan of Tignish, Vina Brennan of Oromocto, N.B., Evelyn Brennan of Boston, Mass., Winnie Getson of Greenmount and Thelma Hess of Ontario. Besides her parents and husband, Theresa was predeceased by her brothers Walter, Earl & Stephen Brennan. Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Road, Summerside until Wednesday, June 3rd, 2009, then to Central St. Christian Church, Summerside for funeral service at 10 a.m. Interment to take place in People’s Cemetery, Summerside.
