1921 - 2010 - Alban Bordage passed away at The Saint John Regional Hospital on Monday, August 22, 2010 at the age of 89. Husband of Alma (Bastarache) Bordage. Born in Acadieville, son of the late Frederic and Madelaine (Guimond) Bordage. Besides his wife Alma, He will be sadly missed by five sons and eight daughters. Roger of Acadieville, Délia of Lameque, Denise of Moncton, Carmella of Moncton, Fernand of Pointe-Verte, Francine of Burnsville, Gisèle of Moncton, Jeannita of Acadieville, Maurice of Quebec, Jocelyne of Fredericton, Nicole of Moncton, Michel of Acadieville and Alain of Dieppe. He is also survived by four brothers, Louis (Rita) of Acadieville, Emile (Thérèse) of Saint John, Arthur (late Mary) of Saint John, Adrice (late Juliette) of Saint John, two sisters, Edith (late Edmond) of Villa Maria, St. Louis de Kent and Corinne of Sainte Foy, Quebec. Also 25 grandchildren whom he was very proud of 11 great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Resting at the André Bérubé Hall in Acadieville with visitation on Tuesday, August 24th, from 7 to 9 pm and Wednesday, August 25, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. Funeral Mass will be held at Acadieville, Immaculate Conception RC Church, at 11:00 am with a reception to follow in the church hall. Interment will be held in the parish cemetery at a later date. Remembrances in Alban's memory can be made to the heart and Stroke Foundation or the Acadieville Cemetery.
