1952 - 2010

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend, Bonnie Rende on August 21, 2010 in the arms of her loving family.

Bonnie is survived by her husband of 36 years, Al, her children: Natalie (Kurtis), Matthew and Melissa (Tim), her new born granddaughter Madelyn, her mother Carmen Sarrasin, and step-sister Sophia Sarrasin, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and many friends.
Bonnie was predeceased by her father Gilbert Simpson, brother Robert Simpson and her aunt Rose Pellerin.
Bonnie was a quiet and graceful lady, she had a very strong spirit and inner strength that was an inspiration to all who knew who. Her family was her foundation, before Bonnie's passing she had the opportunity to hold and love her first grandchild, Madelyn. All those who knew and loved Bonnie will forever miss her.

We wish to express our sincere thanks to all of the medical staff at the BC Cancer Agency and Royal Inland Hospital, as well as the nurses at the Ambulatory Nursing Care.

The Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, August 26, 2010 at Holy Family Parish, 2797 Sunset Drive, Kamloops. The Reverend Father Fred Weisbeck, Celebrant.

The family request, that any expressions of sympathy take the form of a donation to the Royal Inland Hospital Foundation towards Cancer Care at 311 Columbia Street, Kamloops, BC, V2C 2T1 in memory of Bonnie.
