Passed peacefully away at the Dr. Walter Templeman Health Centre on Friday, August 20, 2010, aged 88 years. Predeceased by her husband Richard 1978. Leaving with fond and loving memories her children: Charlie (Peggy), Paul (Diane) and Doreen, all of Bell Island. Stepdaughter Marjorie (Roy), Halifax, and one sister Winnie Reid, Cambridge, Ontario. Three grandchildren: Rick (Lisa), Cambridge, Theresa (Scott), St. John's, Crystal (Cody), Halifax, three great-grandsons: Tyson, Brady and Lucas. Also a large number of family and friends. A special niece Linda Kent who sat with her till the angels took her home. A special thank you to the doctors and nursing staff for love and care. Resting at Pendergast's Funeral Home, Bell Island. Visitation on Monday, August 23rd, 2:30-9 p.m., Tuesday, August 24th, 1-9 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, August 25th at 2 p.m. from St. Michael's Roman Catholic Church on Bell Island. Interment to follow at Roman Catholic Cemetery, the Front, Bell Island.
