The passing of Patricia (Loughery) Belding of Fredericton, NB, wife of the late Gerald Belding occurred on Monday, August 23, 2010 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on February 12, 1919 in Halifax, NS, she was the daughter of the late William and Della (Collins) Loughery. She was a member of Nashwaaksis United Church. Patricia was a former member of the Fredericton Golf Club. Patricia is survived by her daughter, Janis Edwards (James); sons, Gregory Belding (Cynthia) and Gary Belding all of Fredericton, NB; ten grandchildren, Stacey, Patricia, Erica, Ashley, Andrew, David, Richard, Peter, Thomas and Patrick; four great grandchildren, Ariel, Ayla, Ari and Katherine; several nieces and nephews. Besides her husband and parents, she was predeceased by her son, James; sisters, Oneta and Blanche and brothers, Talmadge, Stanley, Lloyd and Charles Loughery.
Although there will be no visitation by request, a Memorial Service for close friends and relatives will take place at York Funeral Home's T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel on Thursday, August 26, 2010 at 2 pm with Rev. Gil MacKenzie officiating. Interment will take place in Sunny Bank Cemetery.
