WESTVILLE – Marion 'Elaine' MacKay, age 80 Westville passed away on Friday, May 29, 2009 in the Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow
Born in Westville she was a daughter of the late Herbert and Donna (Fraser) MacKay.
Elaine had worked at O.K. Bakery in Stellarton for several years and later at Bruce Fraser’s Variety in Westville until her retirement. She was a member of St. Andrews Presbyterian Church, Westville. Elaine lived on Church Street for most of her life and later at Porter’s Lane. For the past 6 years, she was a resident of Glen Haven Manor, New Glasgow.
Elaine is survived by her sister, Elinor Malcolm, New Glasgow; a brother Byron, Westville and 9 nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by a sister, Carol MacKeigan
Cremation has taken place. Her family will receive visitors on Monday from 1:00 to 1:45 pm at Eagles Funeral Home, Westville. Her memorial service will be held 2 o’clock on Monday from Eagles Funeral Chapel, Westville with The Rev. Norman Marple officiating. Interment will be in Auburn Cemetery. www.eaglesfuneralhome.ca
