DALE, Garfield Dawson– Passed away suddenly in Bermuda on Thursday, October 2, 2008, Garfield Dawson Dale, aged 65 years. Dearly beloved husband of Sandra; proud father of sons John, wife Tina; Obie, wife Wendy and poppy to granddaughters Emily (his Eedli) and new baby Julie. Predeceased by parents John and Irene. Leaving with many fond memories brother Wilson (Ann), St. John’s; sisters Jackie (Harve), Ottawa and Sherry, St. John’s; sisters-in-law Ruby Tizzard, St. John’s; Kay (Gil) Parsons, Dartmouth, NS; Ruth (Ron) Cook, St. John’s, Marge (Jerry), Motter, Edgerton, Ohio; Glenda (Terry) McKinney, Kelowna, BC; special brother-in-law Bill (Gwen) Steele, Goulds; Aunts Alma, Shirley and Freda; uncles Clayton, Allan and Leonard; as well as a number of nieces, nephews and cousins; his band mates in Kilmainham, George Jarvis, Frank Davis, Jim Power, Keith Cooke and Max Collett; former co-workers at City Hall and many, many friends. Special lifelong friends Rafe and Karen Bavis.
