
Earl Burlock
The passing of Earl Gordon Burlock of Fredericton, NB occurred on Wednesday, August 25, 2010 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on February 20, 1933 in Devon, NB, he was the son of the late Sterling and Ella (Peacock) Burlock. He was affiliated with the Living Church of God. Earl was a Fireman with the Fredericton Fire Department. He was a member of the Fredericton Bluegrass Association and the Fredericton Firefighters Alumni. Earl enjoyed carpentry, bowling and music especially Bluegrass. Earl is survived by his sisters, Doreen Howland of Fredericton, NB and Maxine Killcup of Sussex Corner, NB; nieces and nephews, Susan Stokes, Kathryn Howland-Arsenault, Rodney Howland, Kimberly Kelly and Dana Burlock. Besides his parents, Earl was predeceased by his brother, Carl Burlock.
Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home's T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel on Friday, August 27, 2010 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. A Funeral Service will take place at York Funeral Home's T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel on Saturday, August 28, 2010 at 2 pm with Pastor Frank Best officiating. Interment will take place in Sunny Bank Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to the Parkinson Society of Canada. Personal condolences may be offered through www.yorkfh.com
