Frank Stafford of Mount Hope, NB passed away on August 26, 2010 at the Moncton City Hospital at the age of 68. Born in Marysville, NB on December 13, 1941 to the late John and Clara (Hazelwood) Stafford. Frank worked for Supply and Services, Province of NB retiring in 1997. He was affiliated with the United Church. Frank loved the outdoors, hunting, fishing and especially time spent at his camp known as the "Penniac Hilton." Survived by his companion and wife Ellen; children Franklin John "Buck" wife Tanya of Penniac, Jill Stafford of Fredericton; step children Larry Young (Anna) of Geary, Dale Young (Connie) of Mount Hope, Susan "Penny" Finnamore (Allan) of Taymouth; eight grandchildren; four great grandchildren; sister Jackie Moir (Vernon) of Durham Bridge; brothers Sam (Jean), Albert (Dawn), Joe (Marjorie) all of Penniac, Jerry (Phyllis) of Ripples, and Vernon (Tammy) of Nova Scotia; numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by a brother Jim; and a sister Sharon Bennett.
Visitation to be held Sunday, August 29, 2010 at Bishop's Funeral Home 540 Woodstock Road from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM. Funeral service will be from the Funeral Home Chapel on Monday August 30, 2010 at 2 PM with Rev. Lona Johnston officiating. Interment in the Penniac United Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the NB Lung Association, Canadian Cancer Society NB or charity of the donor's choice.
