Passed away at St. Clare's Mercy Hospital on Tuesday, August 24th, 2010, after a courageous 18 year battle with Multiple Sclerosis, Andrea Rose Chant, age 40 years. Predeceased by her grandparents Cyril and Isabel Pine and John and Margaret Rose. Leaving to mourn parents John and Bertha Rose, brother Ian (Vicki), two precious nephews, Gavin and Liam Rose; sister Melanie Rose; special aunt Mary Pine, husband Andrew Chant; sister-in-law Trish Sehl (Scott), Sawyer, Haven; brother-in-law Jeff Chant (Holly), Amelia, Ailin; special cousin and family friend Paula Hickey Moyse; special supportive family friends: Sylvia Miller, Carol Horwood, Margaret Clouter, Marg Buschman; dedicated caregivers: Marlee Rodriguez, Susan Gibson, Linda Murphy, numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, relatives and friends. Andrea touched, impacted and inspired everyone who was lucky enough to have met her through her strength, courage, patience, determination and beautiful smile. Resting at Caul's Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road. Visitation Thursday and Friday from 2 p.m. - 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. - 9 p.m. Funeral Mass on Saturday, August 28th at 10 a.m. from St. Francis of Assisi Church, Outer Cove. Cremation to follow.
