RIVERTON – Deborah Anne Pembleton, 57, of Valley View Villa, Riverton, formerly of Stellarton, passed away Monday, June 1st, 2009, at the Aberdeen Hospital.
Deborah was a resident of Valley View Villa for the past seven years. Before moving to the Villa, much of her time was spent with gardening and crochet. She also enjoyed bingo. She worked for several years with Woolco. Deborah cherished time spent with her nieces and nephews, who will miss her dearly.
She is survived by her mother, Doreen (Brown) Pembleton; brother, Wayne (Frances), Gray Road, Westville; sisters, Jean (Joseph) Fraser, Island East River; Carol (Mike) Brophy, Stellarton; nieces and nephews: Charlene, Ashley, Brent, Scott, Lynne, Meghan and Emma.
She was predeceased by her father, Charles Henry Pembleton.
Cremation has taken place. The family will receive visitors from 7-9 p.m. today in H.C. MacQuarrie Funeral Home, Stellarton. A private family graveside service will be held at a later date.
Donations in memory of Deborah may be made to the Valley View Villa Bus Fund or to the Palliative Care Society of the Aberdeen Hospital.
