The passing of Leona Margaret Hall, wife of the late John Hall, occurred on Saturday, August 28, 2010 at her residents. Born July 4, 1917, she was the daughter of the late Leo and Maria (Gourley) Owens. Leona is survived by her son Leo Hickey of Tay Creek, NB; two daughters Anne Merritt (Ralph) of Tay Creek, NB and Susan Konski (Owen) of Fort McMurray, AB; many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Besides her parents Leona was predeceased by husbands Alex Hickey, Charles Dorcas and John Hall; grandson Heath Greene.
Visitation will take place on Monday, August 30, 2010 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm at St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church, Tay Creek, NB. The funeral mass will be celebrated from St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church, Tay Creek, NB on Tuesday, August 31, 2010 at 11am with Father Aaron Knox as celebrant. Pallbearers for the service will be Andrew Merritt, Leigh Merritt, Andrew Carr, Blake Kirby, Reggie Gullison, Alex Hickey, Joshua Corbin and Marcel Corbin. Burial will take place at St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church Cemetery. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
