The death occurred peacefully at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, surrounded by his loving family and friends on Monday, June 1, 2009, of Guy Everett Bowser of Summerside, and formerly of Dartmouth, N.S., aged 66 years. Guy was born on Jan. 21, 1943, in Halifax, N.S., to his mother, Barbara Bowser-Awalt of Dartmouth, N.S., and his father, the late Everett Bowser. Beloved husband of Judy (nee Doucette) Bowser, loving father of Tim (Cathy) of Edmonton, Alta., and Brian of Summerside, and grandfather of Nicholas Alexander Guy Bowser. Also lovingly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Survived by his brother and sisters: Marilyn (Keith) Baker of Musquodoboit Harbour, N.S., Paul ( Dawn ) of Dartmouth, N.S., Sandra (Terry) Fields of Dartmouth, N.S., and Nancy (Danny) Burke of Bridgetown, N.S. Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Rd., Summerside, until Thursday, June 4, for a memorial service in the funeral home chapel at 3 p.m. Interment to take place in Memorial Gardens, Dartmouth, N.S., at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Guy’s memory to the Prince County Hospital Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
