The death of Rose A. Anthony (Goldsworthy), loving wife of Gordon Anthony occurred peacefully on Monday, August 30, 2010 at The Loch Lomond Villa surrounded by her loving family. Born in Saint John on August 31, 1946, she was the daughter of the late Gordon and Marguerite Goldsworthy. Rose worked as an agent for All State Insurance for many years. Besides her husband Gordon, she is survived by her children Gordon (Susan) van Nieuw Amerongen, Christine (Randy) Somerville, Lorina (Hughie) Boucher; Tina (Paul) O'Neil and Kelly Anthony; grandchildren Cory, Adam, Melissa, Dylan, John, Taylor, Camryn, Michael and Alyssa; brothers Harley (Winni), John (Eva), Brian (Nancy), Stephen (Nora), Lloyd (Carol); sisters Marguerite (Warren), Barb (Jim), Shirley (Arthur); several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by a brother Donald Goldsworthy. Special thanks to the staff at the Loch Lomond Villa for their help and support.
Resting at Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Rd. Saint John (646-2424) with visitations on Tuesday, August 31, 2010 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held from Fundy Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday, September 1, 2010 at 2 pm.
