–(April 30, 1937 - May 31, 2009). Passed peacefully away at the Health Sciences Centre surrounded by her loving family after a courageous battle with cancer on Sunday, May 31, 2009, Phyllis Frelich, age 72 years. Predeceased by her husband Myer Frelich and her parents. Leaving to mourn her sons: Wayne Gardiner (Rosie), Randy Gardiner (Sharon) and Michael Frelich (Tammy); seven grandchildren whom she adored: Danielle, Lori, Chris, Colin, Robyn, Bethany and Nathan; sisters: Jean Flynn (Jim - deceased), Carol Linthorne (Arch); special cousin Maureen Murphy and a very special niece who was like a daughter to her, Rhonda Benmore. She will be sadly missed by her lifelong friends: Ron and Joan White; as well as a large circle of other relatives and friends. Special thanks extended to the nurses on 4 South B at the Health Sciences Centre for all their outstanding care and support. Resting at Caul’s Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road. Visitation will take place on Tuesday and Wednesday from 12 noon - 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. - 9 p.m. Funeral Mass will take place on Thursday, June 4, 2009, at 9:30 a.m. from St. Teresa’s Church.
