The passing of Robert "Rob" Charles Dow Jr. of Durham Bridge, NB, husband of Lisa (Whittie) Dow occurred on Tuesday, August 31, 2010 in Fredericton, NB. Born on March 17, 1962 in Fredericton, NB, he was the son of Robert Sr. and Nancy (Petersen) Dow-Arnold. He enjoyed amateur radio, gardening, cooking, camping and travelling south. In addition to his parents and wife, Rob is survived by his daughter, Katherine Dow (Steve MacNeil) of Edmonton, AB; grandson, Joseph; sisters, Linda Yorke of Truro, NS and Shelley Dow of Fredericton, NB; three nephews; "Purdy" the cat. He was predeceased by his granddaughter, Solaira MacNeil.
Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive on Sunday, September 5, 2010 from 7 to 9 pm. A Memorial Service will take place at York Funeral Home's T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel on Monday, September 6, 2010 at 2 pm with Rev. Mike Trial officiating. Interment will take place in Lower Durham Cemetery.
