The death of Jon Burton McKee of Fredericton, NB occurred at his residence on August 30, 2010. Born in St. Stephen, NB on November 7th, 1935 he was the son of the late Burton and Ida (Paterson) McKee, and husband of Violet (Stitchman) McKee. Jon worked 35 years at Corrections Canada Juvenile Division, Toronto, ON. He was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 4, and the Air Force Club 252 Wing. He is survived by his wife, Violet, two sons, David and Stephen McKee both of Vancouver, BC. And their mother Vera, Daughter Christine (Danny) Lapointe of Whitby, ON, Three grand children William, Tia and Marshal, and numerous kin.
No visitation by request. Memorial service will be held from the J.A. McAdam Memorial Chapel on Tuesday, September 7th, 2010 at 11:00 am The Venerable John Sharpe will officiate. Royal Canadian Legion Branch # 4 will hold Tribute service at the memorial service. Interment will take place in the Rural Cemetery at a later date. www.mcadamsfh.com
