Raymond Lionel Melanson, 83, passed away on Thursday, September 2, 2010 at K.E. Spencer Memorial Home, formerly of Whitney Avenue, Moncton. Born on November 16, 1926 in Moncton, NB, he was the son of the late Jacques and Amanda (Cormier) Melanson. He is survived by two sisters: Annette Gauvin (Paul) of Ottawa, ON, and Murielle LeBlanc of Moncton; three brothers: "Joe" Laurie (Marianne) of Beauséjour, MB, Roger (Geraldine) of Riverview and Paul (Meredith) of Moncton as well as several nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be held at Frenette Funeral Home, 88 Church Street, Moncton (858-1900) on Tuesday September 7, 2010 at 11 a.m. Visiting hours from 9 a.m. until time of service.
