Gladys M. Grozik, wife of the late Eugene N. Grozik, passed away on Friday, September 3, 2010 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. She was born on November 25, 1926 at St. Martins, NB to the late Perley and Jean (MacVicar) Collins. Gladys enjoyed bowling and curling, as well as gardening. She was a wonderful cook, renowned for her Lady Ashburnham pickles, and loved to knit and sew. Gladys is survived by her son, Bradley A. Grozik (Sharon) of Saint John; brothers Stanley Collins (Rene) of Saint John and Perley Collins (Ruth) of Saint John; a granddaughter, Tabitha Grozik, and great granddaughter Autumn; as well as nieces, nephews, and cousins. Gladys was predeceased by a son, Cerry in 1962; sister, Gloria Russell and brothers: Ronald and Donnie Collins.
In keeping with Glady's wishes, a private family funeral service will be held at Brenan's Bay View Funeral Home, 1461 Manawagonish Road, Saint John West. Interment will take place in Cedar Hill Extension Cemetery.
