STOYLES (nee Stansbury), Sarah “Sadie”– Yesterday our beautiful mother left this earthly place to once again join her one true love. She will walk and dance again with our Father. October 4, 1931 - October 5, 2008.r. Passed away at St. Patrick’s Mercy Home on Sunday, October 5, 2008, age 77 years. Predeceased by her loving husband George Bramwell Stoyles (1999). Leaving to mourn, with treasured memories, are her two daughters Elizabeth Ralph and Celina Stoyles; her eight sons Arthur, Cecil, Leonard, Wayne, Mike, Oran, Jim and George; daughters-in-law Barbara Stoyles, Heather Stoyles, Christine McGrath, Alice Jordan, Danielle Kennedy, Charlotte Stoyles, Jean Dobbie-Stoyles and Geraldine Stoyles; sons-in-law Jack Ralph and Ted Howell; grandchildren Natasha, Vanessa and Arthur; Craig and Lauren; Cynthia; Aimee and Christopher; Ryan and Josh; Artie, Jimmy and Oran Jr.; Jamie, Jessica and Danni-Lynn; Krista, John and Andrew; Katie, Leah and Aden; Zachary and Jacob; great-grandchildren Hudson, Julia, Rebecca and Nadia. Sisters Vera (Jim) Deveraux, Bernice (Douglas) England, Marie Gilbert and brother-in-law Norm Stoyles; sister-in-law Cenith Gallop. Also mourning her loss is a large circle of extended family and a tremendous number of life-long friends. “Sadie”, as she was known to most, was a devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, and a tireless member/supporter of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch #1. She leaves behind many wonderful memories to those fortunate enough to have known her, and to have been touched by her kindness and humor. A very heartfelt thank you is extended to the nursing staff at St. Patrick’s, especially those on 2 South. Sadie spent the last three years being tenderly cared for and loved by the staff at St. Patrick’s Mercy Home, and they became her extended family. We will never forget the kindness you have shown to our Mom. She is currently resting at Caul’s Funeral Home, 84 LeMarchant Road. Visitation will be from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Monday October 6th and 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 7, 2008. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at the Basilica of St. John the Baptist on Wednesday, October 8, 2008 at 11:30 a.m., with interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Flowers are gratefully accepted, or donations in her memory may be made to the St. Patrick’s Mercy Home Foundation.
