Passed peacefully away on Wednesday September 1st, 2010 at Callingwood Downs, Clarke's Beach, Emily Trickett (Emmie) aged 84 years. Emmie was one of twelve siblings. Her childhood was spent in Brooklyn, Bonavista Bay. She was predeceased by brothers William, Leonard, Clarence and Alexander (Sandy); sisters Mary (Sis) and Edna and grandson Jeffrey. Leaving to mourn her loving husband of 63 years, William Hubert. Emmie and Hubert raised their family in St. John's, Clarke's Beach and Mount Pearl. She will be missed by sons: William (Christine) and Victor (Brenda) of Alberta; daughter Linda (Clarence) of Brigus. Also missing her are her grandchildren: Andrew (Andrea), Matthew (April), Kate (John), Jennifer (Kyle), Jeremy, Leigh and Christopher; great-grandchildren: McKinley and Margaret (Maggie). She will also be greatly missed by siblings Harold (Ruby), Florence, Joan (David), Marion and Edward; as well as many nephews and nieces. Cremation has taken place at Emmie's request. A funeral service will be held on Thursday September 9th, 2010 at 2 p.m. at the Carnell Memorial Chapel. Reception to follow and interment at the Anglican Cemetery, Kenmount Road.
