PICTOU, Delores Marie - 62, Millbrook, passed away Monday, September 6, 2010, at home. Born May 2, 1948, in Eskasoni, she was a daughter of Theresa (Hubert) Henderson, Toronto, and the late William GooGoo. Delores is survived by her husband, Charles Pictou; children, Diana Pictou, Rose Pictou (Jim Van Wychen), Heather Pictou, all of Millbrook; Margaret (Steven) Simon, Al (Cindy) Gould, Eskasoni; grandchildren, Keith Julian Jr., Vanessa Julian, Billie James Julian, Anna Mae Julian, Taya Van Wychen, Simon Simon, Sekkie Simon, Alvin Simon, Dave Simon, Steve Simon, Alwyne Simon, Mary Louise Simon, Emily Simon, Stephanie Simon, AllyStar Gould, Faith Gould, Alana Gould, Al Gould; sisters. Jeannie Rose, Toronto; Catherine Dennis, Eskasoni; Mary Ellen Prosper, Truro; brother, Andrew Francis, Eskasoni; many great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins. Along with her father, she was predeceased by her step-mother, Melvina (Theodore) Paul, who raised her since childhood; son, Barry Pictou; daughter, Corrina Pictou; brother, Angus Paul. Visitation will begin at 6 p.m., today, September 8, 2010, at Delores' home, 50 Marshall Lane, Millbrook. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10 a.m., Saturday, September 11, 2010, in Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church, Millbrook, Father Tom Kurudeepan, OMI, officiating.
