The death occurred peacefully at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside on Monday, Sept. 6, 2010 of Avard "Duke" Ernest Price of Summerside and formerly of Scarborough, Ont., aged 77 years. Duke was born on March 29, 1933 in Saint John, N.B. to his late parents, Ernest and Margaret (nee Titus) Price. Beloved husband of Aurella (nee Doucette) Price and loving father of Kelly (Marcel) LeGault and Jason Price, all of Toronto, Ont. Also lovingly remembered by two grandchildren, Marcel and Andre ; step-daughter Sybil (Alan) MacDonald of Ten Mile House, sisters Connie (Warner) Frobrich of Cambridge, Ont., and Ellen Maddock of Alliston, Ont., and sister-in-law Georgina Price of Halifax, N.S. Besides his parents, Duke was predeceased by grandparents Clifford and Susan Price, his brother John and brother-in-law Bill Maddock. Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Rd., Summerside until Tuesday, Sept. 14 for a Memorial Service in the funeral home chapel at 11 a.m. No visiting hours by personal request.
