Perhaps you sent a lovely card, or sat quietly in a chair; Perhaps you sent beautiful flowers, if so, we saw them there. Perhaps you sent or spoke kind words as any friend could say; Perhaps you were not there at all, just thought of us that day. Mass cards, donations, monetary gifts galore, dishes of food, dropped off at the door. Whatever you did to console the heart, we thank you so much, whatever the part! Our sincerest thanks to Wayne, Kollin and staff of Sydney Memorial Chapel for their kindness and compassion. Pallbearers (Grandsons) Stevie, Marcus, Eric, Gary, Jordan, Jeffrey and Desmond, thanks for carrying Nanny with such love and care. Words can never express our deepest gratitude and thanks to Rev. Maggie Coleman, Trinity United Church Choir, organist Ken MacKenzie, soloist John (Hubba) Parris, readers, Gary MacIver, Sandra Pettipas, John Corbett-Green and the UCW Bethany Unit Honor Guard for their contribution to a beautiful and moving funeral service. To the staff of 4B, CBR Hospital, your genuine care, support and compassion will always be remembered; and to Dr. Carol Critchley, thank you for the gentle, loving way you took care of Mommy over the years.
