Passed peacefully away September 5, 2010, at Carbonear Hospital, Florence Stone, age 98. Predeceased by her husband Frank. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories daughters: Catherine (Mike), Red Head Cove, Trudy (Buck deceased), Virginia Beach, Va, USA; sons: Frank (Sharon), Labrador City, Myles (Mary), Mississauga, Ont.; sister Bridget Bradley (Lawrence deceased); also grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends. Resting at Pendergast's Funeral Home, Bell Island. Visitation on Tuesday and Wednesday from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, September 9th at 2 p.m. from St. Michael's Roman Catholic Church on Bell Island. Interment to follow at Roman Catholic Cemetery the Front, Bell Island.
