WINTER, Millicent (Bump), (nee Anderson) 1913-2008– Passed away at St. Clare’s on October 4, 2008, surrounded by her family. Predeceased by her husband Gordon A. Winter in 2003 and her daughter Valda Tiller in 2001. Left to mourn her loss but thankful for their many happy memories of her long life are her daughter Linda Barrett (David); her grandchildren Valerie Hodder (Craig), Lesley Smith (Alex), Jennifer Harding (Dan), Boston, MA; Keith Barrett (Dianne), Ian Barrett; her great-grandchildren Jordan and Claire Hodder; Megan, Kaitlyn and Colin Smith; Caroline, Christopher and Ryan Harding and Matthew and Hannah Barrett; her son-in-law Dr. William Tiller (Susan); brother-in-law Dr. Nigel Rusted; sisters-in-law Phyllis Winter and Barbara Strang (Calgary); also her devoted and caring housekeeper Mary Boland, as well as her other caregivers. Resting at Carnell’s Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road with visitation on Tuesday, October 7, 2008 from 2:00 - 4:00 and 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. and on Wednesday, October 8, 2008 from 2:00 - 4:00 and 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. Funeral service will take place from St. Thomas’ Anglican Church on Thursday, October 9, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. Interment to follow at the Anglican Cemetery, Forest Road.
