Hamoline, Gus Passed away on Thursday, May 28, 2009 at his residence in Central Butte. Gus, at the age of 62 was predeceased by his parents Armand and Annette Hamoline, of Domremy, SK his twin infant sister Therese’ and his infant sister Bernadette. He leaves to mourn his children Neil (Val) of Strathmore, AB, Corinna Taylor (Mike) of Airdrie AB, Celina Boardman (Bill) of of Capella, SK and Emile Hamoline of Manitoba. He will be missed by his grandchildren Chantel, Colton, Sachanna and Georgina. He will be fondly remembered by his siblings, Renee’ Hamoline of Swan River, Jeanne Hjermanrude, of Saskatoon, Andy Hamoline of Drayton Valley, AB, Gaston Hamoline of Domremy, Francis Hamoline of Saskatoon, Claudette Rawn of Swan River and by several nieces nephews and friends. Gus lived a full life although shortened by poor health. He attended school at Convent in St. Louis and then later at Domremy and Notre’ Dame College, Prince Albert. He worked at many places in many capacities with heavy equipment across Manitoba, Saskatchewan and Alberta. He enjoyed working as a mechanic, became an ambulance technician, serving those in need, started the GusKuz Garage in Wakaw , later hiring out to Wakaw Tire Shop and Central Butte Tire Shop. He worked for a short while in B.C. at a Feed lot, and was also a familiar face in Moose Jaw where he drove taxi for a number of years. A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, June 6, 2009 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Joan of Arc Roman Catholic Church in Domremy SK. Interment will follow at St. Joan of Arc Cemetery.
